Sheojuke: “Jimmy Manning taught me how to cut the stone and print
my own work in Cape Dorset. At the beginning it was hard to learn, but
after a while I got the hang of it.” Although these are contemporary
works, Sheojuke’s prints reflect an elusive earlier era and bear
an elder’s subtle touch in choices of subject and spatial arrangement.
