Annie Pootoogook 16. CLAM-DIGGING WITH MY FAMILY In contrast to Annie's other drawings, and perhaps in memory of her mother, this drawing was executed in black and white, without any colour. Annie depicts herself and her mother; Napachie is in the middle, and Annie is on her left. Her uncle Kiugak and his family are shown in the background. They would often go out to get clams with Kiugak in the late summer. |
