This exhibition features prints made in the Cape Dorset Studio, from
the 1960’s to the present. From the early monochrome engravings
of the 1960’s to the spectacular coloured etching and aquatint
prints of the last few years, these images provide an overview of the
talent and technical expertise of the artists and printmakers of Cape
Dorset. Exploring the Dorset Print also presents a visual and historical
context for the release, in two months, of the 2002 annual print collection.
