4. WATCHING THE IRAQI WAR ON T.V.
2003, Pencil, Ink, Pencil Crayon, 20 x 26"

Among her images of day-to-day life, Annie includes global concerns such as the war in Iraq. In their artwork, contemporary Inuit artists increasingly include international current events as significant and affecting subject matter. "We have been hearing a lot about the war on the radio and T.V., so I wanted to draw about it."
