Annie Pootoogook (1969 - ) Annie's drawings record the intersection of traditional and modern
life in the Arctic. Although this is a common scene in Inuit homes today,
it looks surprising to outsiders' eyes to see fresh meat shared on the
floor in the traditional manner within such a contemporary setting.
