Annie Pootoogook (1969 - ) "This is a true story. When I grew up in the 1970s, this is how our house looked." Annie relives a childhood memory from before the advent of modern kitchens. Her father (Eegyvudluk Pootoogook) stands at a cupboard while her mother (Napatchie Pootoogook) uses an ulu to cut meat for lunch; her little brother stands warming himself in front of the stove with its kettle ready for tea.
