This catalogue accompanied the exhibition of Napachie Pootoogook's work at the Winnipeg Art Gallery held June 1 - September 19, 2004. The book illustrates 69 graphics from the last 5 years of Napachie's artistic career. In her lifetime, this Cape Dorset artist was a prolific storyteller who filtered autobiographical narratives into her depictions of traditional life on the land. The splendid catalogue features Napachie's artist statement, and essays by curator Leslie Boyd Ryan, who lived in Cape Dorset for many years, and curator Darlene Coward Wight.
